Happy November! We are enjoying this season of life so much, and we hope you are too! Some of you may know, but we have decided to move our launch date back to the next available date, which is in August.

This was such a tough decision for us to make, but we really felt like this is what the Lord was leading us to do. After we made the commitment to go on the Word Race, we went through so much transition and change, all wonderful change, but through the process of moving back home, finding jobs, and adjusting, support raising unfortunately didn’t gain as much momentum as we were hoping.

We really want to be fully funded going into the field, and we felt like leaving in December would make this a hard goal for us to achieve. We have such a peace about launching in August and we feel like we have more time to spiritually and emotionally prepare as well are really enjoy time with family and friends before we leave. We also feel like we are enjoying the process of telling our story and letting supporting relationships form organically and on the Lord’s time instead of feeling so rushed to get partnerships quickly.

As we wait to launch we truly realize that the JOURNEY is what the Lord is using to grow us in Him. Here we are months before entering the field and in so many ways we have seen the Lord’s amazing provision.  It is so humbling to see the way the Lord is working around us. That is truly what this process is about. Continually leaning on Him even before we go into the field.

Work update: The Lord has provided me with such a wonderful job working at Dana Elementary. I have such a sweet class and I truly feel that for this season of life, before our launch, this is where the Lord wants me to be. Brad is working with an engineering company out of Charlotte and studying a lot for his CCNA!

Praise Reports!

Partnerships are happening and we are so thankful to all those who have supported us! We are so humbled and can’t wait to partner with people to share the gospel!

We have been invited to come speak at some churches and we are in the beginning stages of setting some of those appointments up.

Because we are launching in August, I am getting a whole year of Teaching Fellows credit, what a huge relief!

Our friend Lindsey set up a Go Fund Me for us and posted it on her social media! We feel so thankful to have such supportive friends!

Mast General Store just gave all Henderson County School Employees a 25% discount on up to six items and we got another coupon for four more discounted items at the door! We used those to get our tent, sleeping bags, backpacks, and duffle covers! We were so excited!
