WOW! Time is flying right now. Less than 6 months before the race begins. The closer it gets, the more I worry about what I need to do. Do I have a sturdy backpack? Is my sleeping bag still good? Am I going to reach my goal of having the whole trip paid for before I go? Am I mentally prepared? These are just a few things that go through my head on a daily basis.
God is truly testing me right now to do what needs to be done. Through all of his tests and guidance I know I will be successful. He not only tests me physically, but mentally. Everyday I ask myself, is this what God wants? Is this where I am suppose to be. Just through these last couple of months, I have grown so close to God and am learning from his teachings. God has given me a family of such amazing people that are always here for me as I am for them. I know with my trust in the Lord, my family, friends and World Race family, I will be ready!
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
