Well, where to start… HR spoke to me about my trip and so I just wanted to help my department begin to plan for my replacement and transition of my duties. As of yesterday, they accepted my resignation EARLY! Was this part of the plan for me???

At first there were a lot of questions about my future and why why why. Then God began to give me a new perspective. Maybe this is Him saying to me "Brad, I need your FULL attention on me and want to prepare you for this journey I am about to take you on." With my job being so demanding and high stress, I feel that I was just trying to FIT God in my schedule and stay above water with all of my activities and work.

Through all of my questioning, these verses kept coming back to me:

"For I know the plan I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD."
Isaiah 55:8

So I will now be using my new time to serve at my church more, work odd jobs for money, and truly prepare myself physically, mentally and spiritually for this amazing next season of my life.
