So we arrived in Cambodia on the evening of June 30th in Siem Reap. The next morning we went to see Angkor Wat (one of the seven wonders of the world) and watch the sun rise. Then on the morning of July 2nd we headed to Phnom Penh (capital of Cambodia) for a Cambodia Cultural Orientation. July 3rd we all split up with our teams and headed to our ministry sites.

This month I am leading a team called The Chosen Ones. An amazing group of people and I can’t wait to see how God wants to use us. We are serving in the Kampong Cham province with a ministry called YDC (youth development center) teaching English and I even get to give guitar lessons! Of course I will be teaching them worship songs.

Our Monday-Friday schedule looks like this:

8-9 Worship and Prayer with the staff

9-11 Visit 1 of 3 villages that YDC is trying to development and playing with the children

12 Lunch

12:30-2 Quiet time and prep for our evening team Bible study

2-3 Teaching English/Guitar class

3-4 Teaching English/Guitar class

4-5 Teaching English class

6 Dinner

6:30-9 Team time, bible study together, getting ready for the next day

Please keep us in your prayers to be spirit led and that the love of God will pour out of us to everyone we come into contact with. Also, please no lice!
