As you all expect, Yes even you Weston.  (Sorry to the wonderful Belkot Family, Weston deserves a shout out) I am stealing another blog!

Here are my thoughts.  We walked for almost ten hours ans 22 miles.  I started the day with an awful attitude.  My loving wife talked to me and asked me to be in a better mood then prayed for me to have a great day.  Having a great wife is amazing.  As we began to walk things were still not amazing in my heart.  However, things got a lot better.  I listened to some Jake Hamilton… how may be my favorite worship leader at the moment!  My attitude got much better as I focused on the reason I was walking.  We had been walking for almost four hours when we passed the village we lived in.  We were so excited to see the sign for Hotel Safari, the hotel near our house!  We screamed and hollared like a bunch of fools!  We walked on for another half hour till we made it into town to get a bite to eat.  After lunch we noticed the temp had increased by about a hundred degrees!  We were walking and sweating and flat out hot!   I was talking with Tyson and we prayed together in a joking manner, “God could you send some wind and some clouds?”  Within five minutes a front moved in that was blowing the palms around like crazy!  Then about ten minutes later it began to drizzle.  We walked in the mist for almost thirty minutes when Tyson looked at me and said, “I want a fan milk!” (Fan milk is an amazing yogurt popsickle)  About thirty seconds later guess what we saw?  Yes a man sleeping on his fanmilk cart!  We woke him up and ate our fanmilk.  Within one minute of taking cover to eat the fanmilk the heavens opened and it poured for a long time.  We hided the rest of the way in the rain, wet, cold, and with pruned feet and wet socks.  But we did make it 22 Miles and I am happy and sore!
ERIKA:Thank you all so much for all of your
encouragement, prayers, and financial support.  Brad and I made it 22
miles yesterday before our bodies gave out and we threw in the towel.
 It was an awesome experience!
