I am freaking pissed today.
I have been reminded of a message my friend once spoke.  His message was simple.  He proclaimed that sometimes we have to have
militant faith.  We can not just sit back
and let Satan and his morons continue to steal from us.  We need to stand up and fight the good fight
of faith.  We need to resist the enemy
and watch him flee from us.  We need to
draw near to God and watch Him draw nearer to us.

This is the bottom line.
Satan is already DEFEATED!!!  At
the end of the football game when the whistle blows there is a winner and a
loser.  The loser can no longer win the
game because it is over.  Such is the
case with the spiritual realm.  Lets look
at a few facts.

  • Satan
    is real
  • Satan
decided he wanted to be God
  • God
    kicked him out off heaven
  • Satan
    deceived Adam and Eve
  • Satan
    still deceives
  • Satan
    is like a roaring lion
  • Satan
wants to steal, kill and destroy
  • Satan
    hates you
While driving to work this morning I had a vision of what this story we live in really looks like.
           My Vision:

I see this picture of a war
stricken area.  Two nations that have
been battling for ages.  At the border
there are troops alert and ready for battle.
The weaker kingdom (kingdom of darkness) continues to use sneaky tactics
to enlarge their border.  However, the
stronger Kingdom (Kingdom
of God) is aware of these
tactics and has contrived an immaculate plan to retrieve that which was
stolen.

The two kingdoms send generals to
the line to discuss rules of engagement.
This is futile because both teams know the kingdom of darkness will not
follow any protocol.  Nonetheless, the Kingdom of God does what is right in the sight  of
God.  As the discussion gets heated God’s
generals attack in unity.  There is a
giant insurgence into the kingdom of darkness!
Satan and his demons are cowards and morons.  The demons   are afraid so they place their
captives on the front line to protect themselves.  Gods generals delight in this!  These souls are transformed from the kingdom
of darkness into the Kingdom       of light.  The
second tactic is to flee.  God’s generals
are elated!  They not have a territory to
develop places of worship and  counsel for these wounded souls.

Here is the point.
Satan is defeated!  He has no
where to run that does not give up ground!
Men and women of God rise us!!!  Pick up
your sword!  Put on your
breastplate!  We are not at a time of
peace!  There is an epic battle raging
and we are invited to play an integral role! Notice this warrior is fierce and intimidating.  Honestly, this dude is a little scary.  That is what we look like to Satan!  A people who are not afraid!  A people who allow worship to be the sound that strikes terror in the enemy’s heart.  May be be intentional to have a head on collision with satan today.  Let us slay him again and again.

Isaiah 61

1 “The
Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
      To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those
who are
bound;
       2 To proclaim
the acceptable year of the LORD,
      And the day
of vengeance of our God;
      To comfort all who mourn,
       3 To console
those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness;
That they may be called trees of
righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be
glorified.”

I am sick of this defeated foe waging war against this
world!  And I have decided I will be a valiant
warrior and take back that which has been stolen.

It is said that Roman soldiers went to battle in something called a Paraclete. A Paraclete is a “buddy system.” They were paired together so that they could help each other. If one needed sleep, the other would pull guard duty. If surrounded by the enemy they stood back to back so that they could protect each other. Having a Paraclete was like having an extra pair of hands. Having a Paraclete was like having eyes in the back of your head.

I want us to be like this!!!
