Ok in all honestly I hate asking people for money since I feel bad cause I know they work hard for their money like I do, but it is one of those important steps that I have to take if I wanna see this journey to its completion, and with your help I can do it.

My goal is to be fully funded by the time I leave for training camp on August 8th, so here are some things that I am planning on doing to help reach my goal.

1. my fundrising letter and posting this on my facebook page

2. I will match every and all donations received, no matter the amount given as this will show my personal financial commitment to this journey as well. Bonus for you the donor is that your donation is tax deductible!

3. I will most likely be designing a t shirt (since that seems to be the most popular form of fundrising among fellow racers) so if there is enough interest let me know via the comment section and I’ll do it.

4. I’ll be planning on doing a presentation at my church sometime in January/Feb since that is when my schedule will open up since I won’t be as busy with work/class.

5. I am also willing to take sponsors, so if you’re a business owner or high up in a company, and wish to sponsor me that would be awesome.  I will even put your company’s logo in the form of a patch or a keyring on my backpack for a donation of your support.

Here is a testimony from not only one of my donors, but she also happens to be a very good friend of mine (and an enthusiatic golfer):

“I have not personally felt called by God to be a missionary around the world, but I am proud to support Bonnie who WILL be spreading the love of Christ to others.  By making a financial donation to Bonnie, I am contributing to Jesus command from Matt. 28:19- “To go and make disciples of all the nations.” I am honored and thrilled to participate in Bonnie’s trip.  I look forward with pleasure to read about Bonnie’s joys and challenges as she travels the world fulfilling Our Lord’s wishes. Plus I can’t wait to see Bonnie’s photos!  What you will be embarking on is incredible and amazing! And totally gutsy and obeying Our Father. You are so strong, obedient and willing, and will do a superb job ministering to others. Your actions will demonstrate what it is to be a Christian. and you will partially be representing the faith of your supporters who are able to make a financial donation, or to pray for you and your journey.”-Andrea

Please Donate!!!!!!!!

Til next time your fellow sister in Christ,

Bonnie
