So what does this mean? Exactly what it says, but I will get into that a little later.
So we started our first week of ministry this last week, and we are church planting, house to house praying for healing, and preaching in church services.
It has been amazing to say the least.
We have experienced God healing several people, seen the people of India crying out to God in worship, and many people experiencing Jesus.
My teams ministry host is a Pastor. We call him Pastor K. because his name is long and hard to pronounce. He has planted 10 churches in 17 years. We are getting to work with those churches and preach the gospel to the villages we are going to. The people are seeking God in a way that I have never seen before, they are desperate for God and it is making me desperate for God.
So to get a little more in depth, yes we spooned our pastor. Our squad leader was with us one day when the pastor took us to his house. We were having a tea time when our squad leader randomly starts talking about cuddling/big spoon/small spoon. Our pastor got curious and wanted to participate in a cuddle session, so we said why not. The guys on my team got onto his bed and we all cuddled. This was an experience I will definitely never forget.
Along with the cuddling, we got invited to go to an India wedding tomorrow! My team and I are going to get dressed up in our button downs and sarees, pictures will be posted on Facebook!
