“What are you hopeful for?”

“What do you want to get out of this trip?”

“What are some expectations you have for the next 9 months?”

These are just a few of the questions I have been asked over the last few weeks and even months. I cannot begin to describe how I am feeling and what things are going through my head, but I am sure going to try my best.

A current update, I am sitting in my hotel room in Atlanta, Georgia. YES, the day has finally come and I am here safe and sound. I will be here for a few days and hopefully get to launch out the 11th. Hopefully. If you do not know already, there is a hurricane hitting this part of the country and it may delay our flight out to India, but do not worry because God will get us where we need to be when we need to be there.

Hope-a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

Hope-a feeling of trust

So I love the second definition of Hope. I have this hope in God, this trust in God that whatever is going to happen these next 9 months is going to be absolutely amazing. I trust that His will will be done and thats it, nothing else.

A lot of people wonder what my future will look like. I couldn’t tell you right now, but I am trusting in Him and His guidance.

We actually just had a bible study from James 5 and it talks about how Elijah prayed fervently for it to not rain and it didn’t rain for 3 and a half years. So I am going to hope, trust, pray, and expect like Elijah did.

“Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.” James 5:17-18

We are Elijah. You are Elijah. Pray big prayers, Hope big things and above those, trust God.

Challenge to you: Pray that big prayer you have been wanting to pray. Yes, it may seem impossible, but God makes the impossible possible.

Psalm 145:18-19 “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.”
