So much to fill you in on, we have been in Nepal for about a week. We left for India with heavy hearts for our ministry and connections with our hosts in India. It’s hard to sum up a whole month because so many things can happen in a month, but the Lord is working in ways that I have never seen before.
So we arrive to Nepal for debrief. Debrief is a time to relax, rest, and have a little fun. The first few days we spent a little time walking through some markets and shops and interacted with the locals. In Kathmandu, Nepal there are a lot of backpackers from all across the country and it was weird because people actually spoke English, where as to India you didn’t find a whole lot of locals speaking English.
The last day of debrief we had a scavenger hunt throughout the city and we had a lip sync battle. My team actually ended up winning the scavenger hunt! As many of you know, I’m pretty competitive and sometimes even a sore loser so it worked out well…
The next day, we said goodbye to all the teams because we had to head off to our ministries for the month. My team is staying with another team and doing ministry with them for the month of Nepal.
I have felt the Lord calling me to write a book of some sort, so pray for that cause I’m not sure what that looks like yet.
