July has been such a crazy month!  I was FULLY FUNDED, Went to Training Camp, and got to go on a service trip to Mexico with my church!

I want to first thank everyone who supported me in fundraising, YOU ROCK, and have blessed me more than you know!

It was so relieving to go to training camp and not worry about funds! So, speaking of training camp, it was WILD!  I was spiritually challenged every day during camp, and it has been incredibly rewarding!  Struggles that I have had with faith surfaced immediately upon arriving at camp, but I’m so stoked to say I left with a much greater understanding of surrender, and the Lord’s love for me!  Jesus is the King of my Heart and Im looking forward to seeing how he moves me.  Aside from growth in my relationship God; I got to meet my team and squad!  I couldn’t be more stoked to travel and grow with my new brothers and sisters.  Oh AND I learned that I have a  deep hate in my heart for Georgia’s humidity.

Leaving Training Camp I had the beautiful opportunity to fly strait to San Diego to drive into Ensenada, Mexico with my church! I got to hang out everyday with kids from a poverty-stricken area and help with a Vacation Bible School, telling the children that God the Father loves them.  I was able to put everything I learned the week and a half prior into practice!  On the second to last night, I was given the opportunity to preach to a church that meets on the streets of the town that our group built a house in, so I gave my first ever, and the Lord put a message on my heart, so I gave my first Sermon ever.

Coming home after being gone for almost an entire month; I am feeling blessed for my experiences and my support, and overwhelmed with excitement knowing that in 5 weeks I will be able to love the people of Guatemala!!!
