I want to preface this with stating: the greatest part of any story is Jesus and his love, healing is just a side effect of God moving. It does not make anyone who experiences it a “better christian,” and I honestly didn’t believe I would ever experience it firsthand. However, by the grace of God, my eyes are being opened to it.
I have been a part of a handful of healing testimonies here that have blown my mind. However, none had been pupated through my hands, and I deeply doubted that God could ever use me to be his hands and feet in healing someone. With all that being said; here is a story from one of my ministry days:
Last week we were out connecting with Guatemalans that were celebrating day of the dead, and towards the end of the day a woman from my team was given a vision of a boy in a green shirt flying a kite, and she believed she had a word for the boys mother. Well, sure enough we found a little boy in a green shirt walking with his mother. We greeted them and were able to talk for a while with the mother about how she was doing. After a while she had said she had deep shoulder pain. And I could feel the Lord pushing me to pray for her shoulder. So, I told her how I have had a lot of shoulder pain due to tearing my labrum last year, and asked her if I could pray over her for healing. She said yes, and I prayed from one weak shouldered person to another! After praying we asked her how she felt and she said that her shoulder felt like it was on fire?! Now, I had heard stories about people feeling a burning sensation when the holy spirit is upon them, but I honestly didn’t fully believe in that either. Yet a woman who didn’t know the Lord told me it was happening! I then told her it was the Holy spirit and continued to pray, and after the second time, her shoulder was physically restored!?! But the greatest part of this story is that she gave her life to Jesus!

This week I went to the doctor after feeling sick and throwing up all night, to find out that I have four different strands of salmonella and a parasite! I am feeling much better, but thank you so much for all of your continual prayer. Thanks for reading, God is SO good!!!

Love, B
