The Lord has been showing me things that I couldn’t imagine on my own. September 12th, I started my first day at CGA (Center for Global Action) with Adventures in Missions. This is a missions internship where I will get training from Adventures in Missions to step into what God has called me to do in his kingdom.
Last year on the World Race a couple of people spoke to me about writing a book. I said, oh okay maybe someday. This summer, I got an email from Bible Gateway about writing a book. I sent an email for information about writing a book. They tried to call me numerous times, but I never picked up the phone. On my first day of story track, I found out that our big assignment for the four months is writing a book. My jaw dropped when I found out because I thought this would be about video blogging.
God loves to turn things upside down and open doors which I thought was closed because I didn’t want to own up to being a writer. God wants us to use his gifts for His glory. I was in a journalism class in high school, wrote articles for a college newspaper, and a dedicated blogger for The World Race. Now the Lord is allowing me to write a book. Wow!! Jesus!!
Along with my story track I am also in the Missions track which is giving me long-term missions training and for Guatemala.
