A few months ago I applied to Adventures in Missions missions training center called CGA (Center for Global Action). I wasn’t sure if I was going to be accepted but God was calling me to ministry in missions and so I did apply and I was accepted in February. PTL!
Over the last few months there has been multiple changes of where I was going to start CGA at but there has been one constant theme the 2 G’s.
From February-April 20ish, I was going to start in Georgia on the Story Track and then go to Guatemala in January.
From April 20-July 30th, Guatemala in September and then Georgia in January.
Now, we have gone back to the earlier plan Georgia in September and then Guatemala in January.
I was told a few days ago, AIM prayed about starting CGA Guatemala in September but decided to push this back until January because the Lord wanted us to be in the best situation possible and to have the best experience God wanted for us in Guatemala.
I wanted to go to Guatemala first and then Georgia but God flipped this upside down again (3rd time in 6 months). God has a unique sense of humor!
“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 ESV
Plans are good to have and we need at times, but we also have to let God be the bricklayer of our lives. He’s got our back and will lay out the plan if we are willing to do things God’s way. Just a little hint, God’s plan WILL ALWAYS be the best plan for our lives.
So in a few short weeks, I will be starting CGA in Gainesville, Georgia on September 12th on the Story Track. I will be in Georgia for 4 months. In January, I will be going to Guatemala and I will be there for 4 months. I will be doing the compassion track where we will go out and minister to the orphans in need. So far, The Lord has provided $2,875 of the needed $6,950 towards CGA Praise the Lord and I am past the first finanical deadline and on my way towards the second deadline! God is Good!

2. November 1st $3,480 of $6,950 Well on our Way!
3. January 1st $5,220 of $6,950 needed to start Guatemala in Support Account
4. March 1st Fully Funded $6,950
