Family and Friends,
I hope you are doing great today! I just want to tell you some amazing things God is doing in my life right now! Many of you know in January 2012 I started studying at Southern Evangelical Seminary to preach the gospel someday. I was very excited for God to call me into His ministry. As I was studying at seminary there be times I spent with God in my quiet time where God would show me pictures of my previous mission trips from Venezuela back in 2004 and 2005. I look at the pictures of me being with the children of Venezuela and felt God drawing me towards being a missionary. I was honored to help out a World Racer from the August 2011 squad and she told me about Adventures in Missions. God then lead me to reading some of her blogs and to keep up with her ministry posts about The World Race. Sometimes while I was sipping coffee at a local coffee shop in Charlotte, NC I would find myself reading other missionaries blogs and looking at pictures from the mission field. I starting praying to God about this and then God was telling me Blake stop worrying about things, I am going to use you in great and mighty ways! Go apply for The World Race! I was interviewed and was accepted to the January 2013 World Race!
The World Race is an 11 month mission’s trip in 11 Countries through AIM. Starting January 2013 I will be in the following countries: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Malaysia, Cambodia, Nepal, and India. The mission is to show God’s Love to a hurting world while reaching people for Jesus Christ! We will be out on the streets doing construction, passing out food to homeless, prayer walks, working with orphanages, prostitution ministry, and most importantly making disciples of all nations for Jesus. I am leaving everything I know behind my family, friends, and belongings for being sold out for Jesus‼
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all of your ways acknowledge him and he will keep your path straight.” I 100% Trust and believe the Lord will provide for all of my needs for The World Race! I would like you to pray and to join me in supporting this ministry God has called me to do for His Kingdom! What an Honor! I need tons of support from other believers like you for this ministry! I would like dedicated prayer warriors for me, encouragement, and financial support. The big part of the trip is the cost being a total of $15,500. The cost includes airfare, land travel, sea travel, administrative costs, training costs, setup, necessities, meals, and lodging. If 100 people gave $15 for the next 10 months I would be fully funded! If God is tugging on your heart to give to this ministry, give! Go to blakemeehan.theworldrace.org to give!
