That’s right!! I’m gonna be packing it up and going home!!! The World Race is not meeting my expectations!! I’m sorry to y’all!!
Gotcha!!! God is doing SO many amazing things during The World Race in my life and through me I am so honored to be chosen by God to be used in great ways!!
Through being on The World Race I have learned many things!! At times I had to be broken by God and when God does the breaking in your life to be honest it sucks but in the end it’s a beautiful thing!!
Some of the lessons God has allowed me to learn are:
I am Loved and I am worthy as a Son of Christ!!!
My Heavenly Father loves me more than anyone else can!!
Be YOURSELF in Christ!!
Am I being the best person I can be for Christ today? Not living in the past or the future but today!
It’s not about me, it’s all about Jesus! It’s not about my wants but it’s all about what He desires in my life!!
The World Race has allowed me to develop meaningful relationships with my people on my awesome M-squad!! We live in authentic community just as 12 disciples lived with Jesus!!
I never had any sisters in my life until this year and then God threw me 40 sisters all at once!! Being a guy on the squad being one out of eleven men this has taught me how to prefer others and as a bonus prepare me for future marriage preparation in the Lord’s timing!
On the World Race we have a daily process called Feedback! At first I hated feedback because I didn’t like to hear what I was falling short in or I took this as what I did wrong everyday. The main purpose of feedback is for your teammates to see how they can call you up into the man or woman Christ wants you to be for His glory! By the time I was in Thailand I asked for self-feedback for constructive not for positive! I even do self-feedback when I fall short in what Christ wants me to be as a man of God! Now I find myself taking the constructive feedback option instead of the positive feedback because I want to grow more in Christ!! Wow!!
I am now in the midst of month 6 on The World Race!! There’s five more to go!! I do need help!!
My final deadline is coming on July 1st!!!
To continue this journey I need $1,081!
