Throughout the World Race I have been to many organizations where children and women have been rescued from sex-trafficking. This year God has placed this on my heart to love the children at the homes because I was a person who my dad left me at a young age because my father didn’t do a man’s job of stepping up and being the Biblical example of what the head of the household should be doing as a man of God.
Men really need to step it up as Men of God. To be honest women have done a better job of raising children, providing better, and being there for children during thick and thin times and this breaks my heart as a man! Women aren’t created to lead the household! Men are created to be the spiritual leader of the home! Quit running away from your families and God!! Men Step it Up!!
My amazing M-squad has 39 women and only 11 men. The number of men to be honest is pathetic! I love all the women who are after God’s heart and serving Him but we need more men to spread the gospel and to love on people as Christ did for us!
The women on my squad want Godly men to be the leaders He created men to be and lead women to be more like Christ! I’ve had enough deep conversations with women on our squad and it’s obvious they want men who will lead them to be more like Christ! Men Step it Up!!
We can look at church leadership as another example. Who are the ones who show up to prayer meetings, cook the food for church potlucks, and who teaches Sunday School classes? Hate to break this to you men but the women do the majority of the church leading because men won’t step it up and be the leaders God wants us to be in the Church! We are too self-centered and prideful as men to do behind the scenes work for Kingdom Growth! Men Step it Up!!
This year on The World Race I learned as a man of God I wasn’t stepping it up in my purity walk with God. In fact, I was addicted on and off for nine years with pornography. I was telling young men to be pure and to stay away from lust and youthful desires but I wasn’t doing this in my own life. By the grace of God I have not looked at pornography in over 300 days! Men you need to step up and turn away from lust and pornography! How many women run out on their families to not take care of the children in the midst of a divorce? Not many, if a woman runs away from the family they are shunned! When a man breaks away from their marriage it’s looked at as normal. This is sad! Men we need to step it up and be the leaders God wants us to be and be with one woman until death separates us apart! Stop running away from the responsibilities of being a husband and the father God wants us to be to our wife! Men step it up!
In Nepal last month, at Asha Nepal I have seen many women who have been saved from sex-trafficking in Nepal or from India and they are trying to raise their children without a Godly husband and father in their lives. This breaks my heart to imagine a man paying money to have sex or rape a woman and then run out of their lives forever!
If we were to step it up as Men then the problems I have listed above would not exist because we be in a perfect relationship with God! Men Step it Up!!
We need to end this cycle of passive men and be what God created men to be for His glory and purposes! I decided to end the passivity in my life and maybe so should you!
I am a little behind on my blogs supporters so please extend me some grace please and thank you! I am in India and doing well!
