First of all, I want to say Thank you to my supporters so far!! All of you are super awesome in my book and will be blessed by God for your generousity towards this ministry for Jesus!
Second of all, this is where money you donated towards the $15,500 goes to for The World Race:
- $10,075 of $15,500 goes towards The World Racer
- $2,635 goes towards Administration Fees
- $1,860 goes towards the WR Development Program
- $620 goes towards field support
- $320 goes towards Training Camp
Third of all, so far I have $3,225.24 in my World Race Account! I have not checked my account since July 2, 2012. If you have made a donation since then I will be checking the account soon thank you for your generousity!! We are very close to making the first deadline of $3,500 a little over 2 months early!! Here are the deadlines for raising support!
- October 1, 2012: $3,500 raised in support account (this does not include monthly pledges towards the WR)
- December 15, 2012: $6,500 in support account
- April 1, 2013: $11,000 in support account
- July 1, 2013: $15,500 (Must be fully funded!)
Fourth of all, God has clearly called me towards this ministry for His calling and I have audacious faith for Him to provide in big and mighty ways for The World Race! I have now set a goal of being fully funded by Christmas 2012!!! That's a huge goal but I know God will provide big because He is the ultimate provider!!
- Elevation Church Faith Confession #2 says-"I act in audacious faith to change the world in my generation."
- Elevation Church Faith Confession #5 says- "I am fully funded to everything God has called me to do."
I fully trust in God 100 percent for this ministry!
Fifth of all, there are some more costs for The World Race which are essential for me to go on this missions opportunity. Some of the things include:
- Vaccinations
- 2 Plane Tickets, one for flying from Charlotte, NC to our meeting point of destination in the US before our team goes off to Kenya in January. The other plane ticket is for when we re-enter the US on November 30, 2013 to get back to Charlotte, NC.
- Gear for backpacking for a year for The World Race
- My computer is 5 years old and is on the last legs right now. I would really like a laptop so I can blog about this ministry to my supporters! A small 13-inch MacBook Air would be my dream computer because Mac's are vitually virus free!
I can see the additional cost for this being $2,000-$2,500 the following items.
