Hey! My name is Blaize and I am 17 years old (18 in June) and I am currently a High School Senior!!
I am from Virginia and have always had a desire to travel the world throughout my life. My current goal is to start my RN program when I return home, however I am open to whatever God has in place for me (Jeremiah 29:11)
I grew up in church but grew closer to God in my early high school years when I became involved in a Christian ministry called Young Life (thank you to THE Riner family). Each year, my love for Jesus grew stronger and I was recently baptized last year (best day ever).
I am so excited for my experience on the World Race because it aligns with who I am. I love Jesus, helping others and being adventurous. Mostly I am excited to grow closer to God and to expand who I am as a person, while serving others. Being accepted to the World Race was the SECOND best day ever ; )
I know there are a lot of unknowns ahead and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared. This experience and fundraising goal will challenge my faith for sure (bring it on) but mostly I am just EXCITED!
