As every Sabbath should be, today was full of fun! We are living with the Hyltons, an incredible family in Gainesville, Georgia that has opened up their home and their lives for us to invade for the next two weeks. I absolutely love this living situation mostly for three main reasons; their names are Brittany (10), Brooks (8), and Bennett (5). With these three amazing Hyltons I have laughed hysterically, taken funny pictures, played the Wii, jumped on the trampoline, and visited their family farm complete with goats, chickens, a pony, and an alpaca!

Also today consisted of house church this morning, three delicious meals, a field trip to squad leader and dear friend Ashley Musick’s, a DQ visit complete with Blizzards, and tons of laughter! Another amazing activity today occurred when my dear friend Benny found a corn hole set and we began playing immediately. So many memories of the many H-squad corn hole tournaments that took place in Nelspruit, South Africa filled my head and brought a smile to my face.

Really and truly the best part of Project Searchlight is being back in community. I absolutely LOVE being around these people. I am constantly laughing, whether being laughed at or laughing at others. I am surrounded by people all going through the same thing and it couldn’t be better! Back again tomorrow…
