It’s so hard to put into words the woman that has inspired us, loved us and made us feel like prince and princesses! I can try but the only thing that really expresses my love and gratitude for her are my tears.
The woman that God has blessed us with has taken kindness, generosity and selflessness to another level!
Zahava is her name and I definitely have stories to tell you! I know I introduced you to her last month in Israel and I just wanted to tell you more about her even though we’re away from her now
From the moment I met her, she hasn’t stopped giving to my group and I. She invited us over for lunch numerous times, and did not stop giving. I’m not talking about a little bit here and there, I’m talking about lavishing love on us. She has gone above and beyond with her giving and keeps thanking us for giving to her. I’m overwhelmed. The day before we left she had us over for a feast and we told her we wanted to treat her, cook for her. We even brought food over to treat her and she had prepared an awesome lunch and three desserts. She didn’t want us to leave empty handed so she prepared, packaged and gave all of us gift bags. Inside was a beautiful crystal to hang, frankincense and myrrh and cush from Egypt. The lotion that she gave us is her favorite and told us we can use it for everything. Zahava explained what each part of the gift meant, where it was from and how to use it.
Her stories are so inspiring, the way she encourages us to love and receive love is so comforting. I have been so touched by her, and changed by the way she gives. I thank God for a woman that is full of soul, life, joy and experience. She’s always ready and willing to reach out! The day we left she came by twice to say goodbye. The first time she came to give us gifts was before we left on our trip and then she came and gave us food for the road. I received the most beautiful Indian scarf and plan on wearing it the rest of the year. We cried for the second time saying goodbye to her and planned on seeing her at 4:30 that day! She brought all of us candles to light for hope and joy and we took lovely pictures of us and the sunset.
