Hey ya’ll! I’m safe in Kampala, Uganda and working with amazing contacts. My team of seven is busy working each day, and loving every minute of it. We are working with a couple pastors and friends that take us out each day on a new adventure. We’ve been in the slums each day meeting kids, moms, young people and widows sharing the Love of Jesus. It’s so challenging, but so worth every moment just soaking in the culture, people, sounds and smells…well not really the smells, haha.
We have plans to do construction, street evangelism, go to orphanages, visit the sick in the hospital, help with AIDS relief and visit prisoners. I am so excited to be doing so much and to be able to meet practical needs as well as spiritual needs. I have really enjoyed praying for the sick, and the contacts we’ve made. I have tried authentic Ugandan food prepared for us by our hosts and have made great friends already. Thank you for praying for us and please continue to pray for God’s favor as we work, His protection and His love to fill us up each day. I look forward to more time to post a blog with pictures and videos, because now my time on the internet is limited. I love you all and thank God for each of you!!!!
