I am Birkleigh Foreman! I was born and raised in Flint, MI and literally grew up wanting to be African American, haha…i was funny! I grew up in an urban, diverse environment and loved culture. I was so curious about people different from me and found happiness in my friendships! I grew up in a Christian home but God didn’t really become real to me until I was 15 while on a mission trip to Jamaica. I saw so many people that had little to nothing compared to me but the JOY they had was amazingly huge. I wanted it and I knew that a relationship with Jesus was what I was missing in my life. That trip was 10 years ago (alot has happened since then) and now I’m headed back to the global mission field. Wheww, God is amazing!
A little about me! I live out in Los Angeles and have been here for 4 years! I moved out here to pursue acting in television and film and its been a roller-coaster ride. I’ve managed to do some pretty awesome stuff out here with my craft and will always love acting, performing, dancing and singing. I cant get away from the arts and I know God has created me to use my talents for Him and to enjoy so many forms of expression. I have pretty much done every odd job out here to support myself in between gigs. I got certified to teach spin and love teaching and motivating people. I love to see people reach their goals and get excited about pursuing the difficult goals with a passion. I have modeled, worked as a private investigator, walked dogs, done background work on tv and movie sets, cleaned houses, worked in restaurants, catered and most recently did some promotional work. I keep busy but not too busy where I can’t enjoy working out with my trainer, hike with my puppy TIkko, enjoy the beach with friends, eat yummy yogurtland and invest in the community God has given me here. I love Sundays cause I get to go to church (Reality L.A. and Mosaic) and then GBSE (stands for greatest Bible Study ever). I’m definitely going to miss L.A. There are so many people that have invested in me and that I’ve invested in here, I am one thankful Girl!
I love one on one time with my friends and mentors, but I’m totally comfortable in big groups being social! I love fun parties, not wild ragers, special events, concerts, going to plays, the movies and being with people that are passionate about Jesus, life and making a difference in this world. I have a loving family back in Michigan that prays for me and supports me in ways I could never repay. My mother Marabeth and Father David, are my examples of servanthood! My little brother David who is 24, and brother Reeve who is 18!
