Never before in my life has my heart been so completely and hopelessly captured SO quickly as it did yesterday afternoon.  We have only been here in Romania for a few days and already I love it here.  I love the town of Targu Mures (pronounced Ti-ga-mor-es): it is beautiful.  The thing I love the most though is the gypsy children we ministered to yesterday.  We went to 2 different villages to evangelize.  The first village was a small Hungarian village about 45 minutes outside of town.  We literally had church in the backyard of someone’s farm! It was wonderful!  The second village, which completely captured my heart, was a gypsy village near by.
(Gypsies are a race of people that have been traced back to somewhere in India.  They moved to Eastern Europe a long time ago in pursuit of work.  Gypsies are considered second class: for the most part they can’t get jobs and aren’t allowed citizenship in most countries except for Romania.  They live in villages set apart from everyone else.  Because they have trouble getting work most are extremely poor.)
Words can not really express what happened in my heart yesterday…so I’m just going to SHOW you….enjoy!
