I have always grown up living in the Appalachian mountains, and I absolutely LOVE them!  I am always in awe of the mountain top view, and stand in awe of how God can create something so vast and expansive, and BEAUTIFUL, and yet He knows ME by name, knows everything about me, knows every fear, every failure, every flaw, yet loves me the same!  I am excited to see where He takes me on this World Race adventure.  As I was hiking at Roan Mountain the other day, looking out at the grandeur of it all, I couldn’t help think to myself about how excited I am for God to show me countless views of His Glory that I never in a million years dreamed I would see!  I am reminded of this psalm/praise chorus: “I lift my eyes up, up to the mountains, where does my help come from?  My help comes from You, Maker of Heaven, Creator of the earth.  Oh, how I need You, Lord, You are my only Hope, You are my only Prayer.  So I will wait for You, to come and rescue me, to come and give me life.”
