Hey everyone!

I just wanted to send out a quick update!  Our squad made it safely to Uganda!  We spent the last week debriefing Kenya….but unfortunately we had a nasty vomity stomach bug that rampaged through the ENTIRE squad!  It was pretty gruesome…and most everyone got it…so several of us ended up having to travel a bit ill on Saturday when we all left for Uganda!  But anyways we are safe!  My team, Dunamis and Team Judah will be working in Kampala this month, which I am really excited about!  Kampala is the capital of Uganda, and pretty well established….the nicest of any African city yet!  Internet is pretty easily accessible here…so I should be online a bit more this month!  Keep all of us in your prayers…for health and we have a lot of teams traveling to Northern Uganda.  They were supposed to leave today but because of illness issues they have postponed travel for a few days, so they will be staying here with us in Kamala.
God has literally dropped us into a ministry field.  The guest house that Dunamis and Judah are staying in this month is literally next door to a “gentle man’s club” and another place where people go to get high.  Our contact mentioned that these people need Jesus, which is why they decided to put the guest house here…and she is so right…Jesus came to save sinners not the righteous!  (we are safe though, as there is a huge iron gate that separates us!)  We are within walking distance from the church, as well as a lot of the ministry locations we will be at this month.  I will update you more on the ministry as soon as we find out exactly what we will be doing!
Love and miss everyone lots!
