Hey everyone!
Just wanted to send a quick note while I had a chance…
We are now in HONG KONG!!!  We arrived Sunday evening for debrief.  We are staying at a Recreation Center…and it’s pretty awesome: they have a pool open all day, rock climbing wall, goofy golf, tennis courts, basketball courts, roller skating rink, pool tables, fooseball tables, pretty much anything fun they have…
Yesterday was our first “Race Day” where teams competed and they sent us on an all day scavenger hunt all over Hong Kong.  It was lots of fun, but exausting!  Yesterday was ended by getting to watch the light show on the harbor in HK….they put on a pretty spectacular show from all the high rise buildings right on the harbor.  Before the show started, we as a squad worshipped…with lots of people around…and it was amazing!  It was incredible to see the people that our worship drew in!  (I will try and post pictures soon)
We are in debrief until Friday…the focus this week is rest.  To rest in the Lord, a chance when we can take off our armour, clean it, and let the Lord heal any wounds underneath that we didn’t know existed.  This is a week where we can be refreshed and refueled and just have fun with our squad before heading into that big country that starts with a C on Friday.
So I will have internet until Friday, and then we will be MIA until Thanksgiving.  (We wont have internet or phone access at all while in you know where, and you may not hear from us until we head to Africa in December.)  Please keep us in your prayers, our teams are getting split up and sent all over you know where, where we will once again put on our armour and head to the front lines for battle!  Please be in prayer over us this next month! It’s gonna be hard!
