I am writing this blog on behalf of fellow squadmate Lindsay Heston.  Lindsay is an amazing woman of God.  She is a prophetess, an encourager, anointed by the Holy Spirit, and is an incredible intercessor.  She is all these things and MORE.  Most of all, over the last 4 months she has become my friend and my SISTER.  It was Lindsay that stayed up all night with me in Manila to pray over not one but two sick babies.  We were blessed to see and experience the Holy Spirit fall on that hospital room that night bringing healing to not just one, but BOTH of those precious babies.

It was Lindsay that I awoke one night in Manila, to pray and intercede for the men on our squad.  She rose to the battle that night.  She could sense the spiritual battle going on there that night, and realized the importance of praying in numbers-she woke up around 10 or 12 more girls to pray.  United in purpose and Spirit, we stayed up most of the night, sitting in front of where our men were sleeping, battling for them and the spiritual war we felt going on in that place.

It was Lindsay who has battled for me countless times, praying over me, helping to bring deliverance from the lies and strongholds Satan once had over my life.  I have traveled halfway around the world with this woman of God.  We have laughed together.  We have cried together.  We have prayed together.  We have held orphans in our arms, fed those that were hungry, we have boldly walked and proclaimed the gospel where it hasn’t been proclaimed before-in a country where sharing Jesus can get you a quick ticket to prison.  We have explored the tropical jungles and waterfalls in a tiny canoe together, I stood on and traversed the Great Wall of China with her.  I can only imagine what else lies in store and the memories we will create.
It is obvious to me that God WANTS Lindsay to be here on the World Race.  She is bringing God’s kingdom to earth.  She is being His hands and feet.  She is loving the unlovable.  She is holding and loving God’s children in her arms.  She is boldly proclaiming His truth and His righteousness to the Nations.  She is Jesus with skin.  To stay on the Race, Lindsay still needs to raise approximately 4600 dollars, and she needs a good portion of it as soon as possible!  If you are able, and you feel God leading, please help my sister Lindsay stay on the Race.  Her work is vital, and we all love and appreciate her more than words can express.  If Lindsay does not get the support she needs, she may be asked to leave the Race.  PLEASE!  Help us keep this dear sister and friend on The Race, sharing the good news and hope of Jesus Christ!  If you would like to donate, please click here.
