I’m partnering with Adventures in Missions to travel to 11 countries in 11 months on the World Race!

I will be living in community with other young adults to worship, work, serve, witness, heal and grow. Not only is this a mission trip, but an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.

We’ll travel to Ukraine, Romania,Bulgari,Vietnam,Cambrosia,Thailand, Myanmar,Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia. In each country, we will work with local partners to accomplish the work God is already doing. What a gift! Again, I’m still in disbelief that little ‘ol me has been led here.

Some of you may be thinking the same thing. Whether you knew me before I knew Jesus, or you just aren’t really sure why I have the desire to camp out of a backpack in unknown places for almost a year, I don’t blame you for raising an eyebrow. But all the questions have been answers and also the support from my parents to go along on this unbelievable adventure I said yes to.

Since I was young I knew that I wouldn’t live in US all my life. I knew there was something more that God wanted me to experience out in another country but I didn’t know where, how and why. The question I had in my head for years was “Am I willing to lay off a lot of my normal life and be a missionary?” While in Haiti my friend Daniella told us something along these lines.. “someone will receive confirmation on what it is that they will do for their next season in life”. “As soon as she said it ,I knew that it was for me. As I looked at the children and the place the more I wanted to live somewhere else above the normal “American Dream” people talk about. I didn’t want to rely on the material things that come with living in the US. I wanted something different, I believe that is when I realized I was ready to get out of my comfort zone 100%. I asked God for the path of my life to what is next and I never felt peace with other decisions besides this one. I had such peace in Haiti after knowing in my heart what I was to do after returning home and I was so excited. I wanted to do what the Lord had in store for my life and I wanted his perspective on my life.

I am determined to keep following Him wherever it is He leads me and to step out and do things that others might think are crazy or something like that. I want to share my food like in Luke 3:11, I want to preach the gospel to the poor and see miracles like in Matthew 11:4-6, I want be the one to visit orphans and widows as told in James 1:27 and it’s time to set at Liberty all those who are oppressed Luke 4:18. So stay tuned to be a witness of what I am to do with my life that the Lord has blessed me with.
