The box is shattered!
Almost a week ago I was at training camp. I was full of excitement and ready to meet my squad. The feelings of excitement soon began to get mixed in with uncertainty and doubt. “What was I doing here?”
The enemy is so sneaky and quick to take advantage of our weaknesses. He obviously has forgotten  the Lord’s promise towards me..”My grace is sufficient in you, for My strength is made perfect in weaknesses”.
Words can not do justice to the many great things God did at trading camp. Nevertheless, I will do my best.
I can share about how I spent an evening in a tent with 10 plus girls in it. Or how I tried to sleep in a bus with about 55 people all crammed in, backpacks and all. Or how we hiked, what seemed like over a mile, with a huge pack on my back. Or how half of our packs “didn’t make it to our destination” so all I had was my Bible, journal and glasses with me for the evening. Or how I ate food that, if had been given a choice I would of turned it down immediately.
But what I want to share is what my eyes have seen. They have seen miracles happen before me. Miracles? Yes that’s right, miracles! I have seen backs healed, hearing restored. Let me stop there. Hearing like in this guy had been wearing a hearing aide from a young age and he couldn’t hear and now he can!Â
I have seen lives restored. What do you mean? Men and women who had been hurt in the past now are walking free from the pain that was caused by the past. No more chains! Set free. “Whom the Son has set free is free indeed”. Â
And I see a generation of men and women rising to greatness as we realize that we are sons and daughters of an extraordinary God…I see Isaiah 61 jumping out of the pages of my Bible and literally happening before my eyes. Because the box in which I had my Jesus in was way too small! The box has been shattered into pieces scattered everywhere. Never will there be a box. He is too great to be contained. He is moving through vessels who are answering His call to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every one”.
