For the past five hours I have been at a Starbucks…for no other reason than God appointed it to be so! Sounds crazy, right?
I came to “use the internet ” but God had other plans. The scripture below began to unfold before my eyes.
And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations. Isaiah 61:4
As I was trying to organize myself to use the internet two beautiful ladies sat right across from me. My attention began to be drawn towards them. My loving Father was yearning to have a cup of coffee with them. Soon we found ourselves in a deep conversation. These “cities” in front of me were in ruins. They had no hope, were filled with anguish, and were in hopeless situations. They felt unloved, despised, and abandoned.
As we spoke our Daddy embraced them. Words of life, love and hope were poured over them. They cried with me…but most importantly in the arms of a Father who reminded them that they are loved unconditionally, never abandoned, and who is always thinking about His precious and beautiful daughters. He knows them by name and they are the apple of His eyes. By the time our conversation ended they were laughing, smiling, and had hope. The cities are no longer old ruins…they are being rebuild through His power!!!
