Hi current/future friends! I am absolutely thrilled, terrified, excited to meet my team and start the race! In the meantime, here is a little info about me!
- I am 25 years old
- I currently live in Gainesville, Florida (#GoGators)
- I have a BS degree from Ashland University & a MS degree from the University of Florida Graduate School of Business
- I love drinking black coffee (Starbucks & Mr. Espresso in CA are two of my favorites)
- I really envy people who have dark hair
- Nehemiah is my favorite book of the OT
- I lived in Ohio for 21 years
- I have an unhealthy love for collegiate sports (Ohio State & Florida)
- The country that I am most excited to visit is China!!! (as my friends and family lol…)
- I could read for hours and hours at a time (my top books are: Wuthering Heights, The Art of Non-Conformity, What I Wish I Knew When I Was 20, Persuasian, Sun Stand Still, & The Monk & the Riddlle
- I love my friends, family, and pets
- My favorite smell is coconut
- I have a younger brother Russell (Jungle Russ) and a younger sister Hayley (Little John)
- My favorite music is K Pop, Rainforest sounds, Classical, Hillsong, and In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins (plus many other random songs…most of which are not in English)
- Movies with either Audrey Helpburn or Cary Grant are my favorites
- My top food choices consist of: Avocados, fish, brown rice, Croutons, Oranges, burnt popcorn, and almost all raw veggies
- I wear scarves almost every single day….in Florida….
- I really like Wong Fu Productions
- I always eat a salty snack before I go to bed (ask Sarah Shaffer…it's true)
- I am incredibly excited to start the World Race
- My favorite NT verses are Hanakkuk 1:5, Mark 1:17-18, Phil. 4:6, Mark 10:17-31,
