Living in the African bush for a month was an experience I will remember and cherish forever. I lived in a world that I had only seen in school textbooks and films. It was an extremely simple kind of life. Not one that I would burst at the seams to go back to, but one that God was able to teach me so much about myself, others, and a bit more of the grand goodness that He is. Here are some pics from my time in Dzuwa, Malawi:

Right now my team is in Lilongwe, Malawi which is much more developed and we jokingly call it the “Magical land where dreams come true”…like internet, electricity, and variety of cooked foods! We will be here till Wednesday morning, and then we head on a 40 hour bus ride to Joberg South Africa.
Next month is what The World Race calls an ATL month. Which means Ask The Lord month. So we prayed and asked God where He wanted us to go. See, God is alive and living, and not only does He crave for us to speak to Him (which is praying), but He longs to speak to us…if we would open up the ears of our hearts to listen…
SO our team listened, and we feel God is leading us to a hostel that our entire squad stayed at the beginning of November. My team and I are really excited to live out our life, and love for Jesus in that community… It’s very city oriented. I’m pumped and so excited for all that God is gonna allow us to do there!
A new year is quickly approaching! And I’ve got a lot of reflecting to do. And I know, for sure, it’s gonna point to God’s faithfulness… I’m not a big new years resolution maker… so I have to think long and hard about what I hope the new year entails…
But I KNOW that I am going to trust God way more in 2011 than I did in 2010, or ever before for that matter. And I’m looking forward to what He has in store for the new year!

I’d love to hear your new years resolutions for 2011! And if you have any cool suggestions for me that you think I should consider, share away =)
I’m so in love with Jesus… He’s absolutely amazing!

Next time I write, God-willing, it will be from South Africa. Thank you for all your prayers and support in so many ways. It means so much!
May you and your loved ones have a happy, safe, healthy, and hope filled NEW YEAR!!!
