Hey friends and family! Thank you guys so much for your prayers and support throughout this fundraising process. I don’t know where I would be without you. I have been learning a hard lesson this past week. I find it difficult to ask people for help with finances, but I know this is what God called me to do. He has been teaching me to be patient and trust in His timing. I know that He is faithful in all matters, but I have a hard time of letting go and letting God work and provide for me.

The next few weeks are going to be so hectic which is both exciting and challenging at the same time. On Sunday my church is letting me set up a missions booth to inform people about my trip, sell baked goods, prayer bracelets for $5 if anyone is interested, jam that my awesome mom made, and give people the opportunity to donate to my trip. As an introvert, I am a little anxious and I continue to pray that God will give me the words and boldness to speak truth and that He will open the hearts of the people at my church. I feel so blessed that they are letting me do this.

Don’t forget to come out to Panera on Monday June 9th from 5pm-8pm if you are close to Escondido by the Target shopping center!

James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

Philippians 4:23 I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.

These verses have been a daily reminder that God is there for me throughout my struggles and will help me overcome anything that comes my way. These trials push me to lean more on Him than others or my own strength.
