Ya’ll I found the place where heaven and earth collide this weekend, and it was absolutely beautiful.
We were literally in the clouds.
I was left in awe.
There is a place in Lesotho called Sani’s Pass, which is a border crossing point between Lesotho and South Africa; and at 2874 meters (9429.13 feet) in the air, it was absolutely breathtaking.
Normally, I don’t find God in nature—sure, I see everything that He creates and know it is from Him and have a sense of awe for it, but there isn’t usually “something special” that I find in nature.
However, at Sani’s Pass there was one point where I was brought to tears by the magnificence of God and how He perfectly created everything.
It was wonderful.
Here are some pictures from there—they do not do it justice one iota, but nonetheless.
As a bonus, we ate lunch there (at the highest pub in all of Africa) and I found on the wall the signatures and hashtags from Nathan’s (my brother-in-law’s) team from two years prior, almost to the day.
I’ll add pictures when I can, but until then you can see the pictures on either my instagram (@bethany.rose93) or my facebook, Bethany Rose.
EDIT: Here’s the pictures finally!
