We have all heard of the expression, “Faith that can move mountains,” this is also a paraphrase of scripture which seems so easy to say, but yet so impossible in our finite, human understanding.

Even more so is the reality of putting our faith not in ourselves to move the mountains, but trusting God to move them on our behalf. Why is it so easy to put our trust in ourselves, yet so hard to put that trust in the One who never forsakes us?

“I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.” Mark 11:23 NLT

I’m a “do-er”. When things need to get done, I like to get right to it and do it myself so I know it gets done, and done quickly. So when it comes to this huge adventure that is here before me, I think to myself, “Ok, I can do this, I can make this happen.” But I hear the Lord say so clearly “Ok, WE can do this, LET’S make this happen.” Luke 1:37 says, “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

I’m learning to let God move this mountain, for I cannot do it on my own.

Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
This verse not only applies to our salvation and acceptance from God, but also to our circumstances that seem too large to handle.
“…this is not of your own doing, it is the gift of God!”
We cannot make things happen of ourselves, but only by the power of God within us, that strengthens us!

Would you be willing to be a do-er yourself and partner with me in a practical way by giving financially? I know the Lord has placed people, like YOU, in my life to partner with me for the furtherance of the Kingdom and to see this mountain be removed.

This $16,267 mountain will be moved!
All through the power of the Lord that is so strong within me, by His grace alone!
