Wow! What a journey this has been already! It was just about two weeks ago when I stumbled upon Adventures in Missions and The World Race. I just graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute and I was searching for the next adventure The Lord had for me. Little did I know His plan was to send me to the Nations!
After much prayer and consideration I felt strongly that joining this race was what was next for me. 11 countries in 11 months. What an adventure!
One scripture the Lord reminded me of when making this decision was one He gave me my first semester at CFNI: Isaiah 49:1-3. I am an arrow in His quiver, being pulled back and ready to launch into what He has prepared for me. THIS is the ordained time. THIS is the call. And I have chosen to follow it and leave behind everything that may hinder.
It was this time last year that I was on an outreach to Asia that The Lord first planted the desire in me to minister to the nations. He molded my heart there and gave me a desire to reach out to the people and cultures of lost and hurting places and countries.
The World Race is the perfect program to partner with to accomplish and follow this call on my life. Here I will travel many different parts of the world and encounter many different people and cultures. I will be stretched far beyond my comfort zone and find opportunities to meet the Lord in such a new and powerful way.
I am so ready and so willing to follow what The Lord has for me in this next season of my life, and I can’t wait to begin!
