This is a video our team leader, Pat, put together of one of the Saturday mornings we have spent playing with kids.  The video is short and sweet, and you get to see some of the beautiful faces and spirits we have gotten to meet.  Most of these children live in extremely impoverished conditions, with dirt-floor homes made of pieces of sheet metal and trash, with no electricity or clean water.  Having a Saturday morning to just play games, bust open a pinata, and eat cookies brings out their joyful little spirits.

We have done several types of ministry and outreach since being here, including working on manual tasks at a local public school to relieve this burden on the teachers, preaching and sharing testimonies in plant churches in poor rural communities, and working with youth focused on gang violence prevention (a huge problem in El Salvador).  We have seen some people that live in extreme poverty, and it has been truly rewarding to be able to share love and joy with them through little things.  We have 2 more weeks here in El Salvador before we head on to Honduras, so be in prayer about how and where we could spread the joy and love of our Father!

Also, my credit card has disappeared, but no money has come out of the account, and we think it is in the house some where….if you all could just send up a quick prayer that it would show up, that would be awesome! thank you!
