Just like every single thing we have done here at training camp, this is a training exercise and I have 6 minutes to post this.  So here are just a few random thoughts before I have to "leave the internet cafe to go catch the bus!"

Training camp has been, in a word, ridiculous.  On every level.

It has been ridiculously hard: scary and scarce food, sleeping outside on the ground in near freezing temperatures, witnessing and trying to open my mind to differernt forms of worship, and constant stories that are scary yet exciting.

It has been ridiculously exciting: being taught how to tell our stories, share our faith, meet our squad and team mates, who will be our family next year, and truly live out the Great Commission.

It has been ridiculously eye-opening:  to various backgrounds, the reality of what we will face next year, and the first-hand stories from racers that have held dying babies, seen 11 year old prostitues, prayed over people with leprosy, and told people the name of Jesus for the first time.

Yesterday we were given our teams.  My team is incredible: put together perfectly by God long before any of us even existed.  I am already seeing how well we will compliment, challenge, uplift, and support each other, to come to together as a team representing the body of Christ.

We were allowed to leave camp with our team yesterday, and we were able to see what it is going to be like to go out into the world and see how to use every day situations to love on others and share our cause.

My time is up….this week has been unbelievable and I am so thrilled to be where I am right now.  Please, please continue to follow my blog and tell me how or where to improve in my attempt to share this journey.
