He didn’t actually buy any of the 50¢ dishes or $1 dolls. He didn’t even hand any cash over for the Coca-Cola collectibles or adorable bistro table with chairs. But Jesus was definitely at that yard sale fundraiser. He was definitely moving in people’s hearts. He was moving in OUR hearts.
All kinds of beautiful people donated boxes, bags, furniture & even a couple trucks full! This yard sale was a total community effort & it encouraged me so much to see everyone coming together to support this mission! Thank you to every person that helped in every way.

Day 1 was crazy. I’ve never seen so many people at a yard sale in my life – we were all so pumped! We got a little carnival atmosphere going on with face painting, hot dogs & a bake sale. When shoppers found out it was a benefit sale, they would pay a little extra or even give a donation! A couple of people even went home & brought back more donations to sell! Talk about amazing, it felt a little surreal … just to see God working & realizing there was nothing we could have done to make all of this happen. HE was pouring out blessings & I was just lovin it.

Day 2 was totally dead. The first hour or so, we had about 2 customers. Even though we had seen awesome happenings the day before, I started to get a little worried. We had so much stuff left! My mom, brilliant lady that she is, said “Let’s pray them in!!” So all of us made a circle & PRAYED over our yard sale. Within a few minutes, cars were pouring in again! It was incredible. The second day was just as mind blowing as the first!!
Oh & did I mention … it rained the day before. Sunshine both yard sale days. And then it rained the day after.
What a miracle weekend!! & what a miracle God we serve. I felt like this was a taste of what He’s planning to do this year on the World Race! And I feel so ridiculously blessed, crazy excited & just happy to be able to follow His lead & see His work not only in my driveway but all over the world! Our God is alive & He is moving!!!
