And in Thailand…

Heavy backpack. Window seat. Flying. Double decker bus. Chiang Mai. Zion Café. Jet lag. Thailand. Land of Smiles. Golden religion. Squad meetings. Vulnerability. No holding back. Cry. Worship. Emmi Khanthana. Love in action! Thai culture. Shoes off! Save face. Don’t point! Morning run. Iced latte. Downtown. Markets. Rice. Thai pants. Urban art. Inspire. Elephants, waterfalls, rafting. Café ministry!! Compassion. Joy. Prayer. Commitment. Choosing love. Giving yourself.

My whole squad is together this month & it’s been amazing! We’re trying to love each other well, just like a big crazy family (& I do know something about those! lol). The first week of the race was a transition time, sessions about Thai culture, ministry on the race and vulnerability in relationships.

And – Jesus’ love. Wow. I am so blown away by His beautiful, deep love for me. And that love is what inspires me every day to love others. To know Jesus is always there – to feel Jesus’ arms around you & Jesus’ hand holding yours – is a joy that every person should come to know!

My team’s ministry in Thailand is working in a café & serving the customers & most especially the ladies who work there every day. We are ministering to them as much as we can with our broken Thai & their broken English! Our goal is to encourage them & lift them up in every way that we can. Washing dishes, serving tables, chopping vegetables & lots of laughter. It’s been wonderful.

Aaaand we also get to host events at the café to introduce people to the ministry & build relationships. So everything from advertisement to decorations…fun stuff. laugh

So that’s the scoop! God is just getting started with Q squad. It’s going to be an incredible ride, please pray for power, wisdom, boldness, & everything else you can think of lol! We’re gonna need it for sure. smiley

Lots of love to you all!!

I still need $5,153 to stay on the race the entire 11 months! Whether it's a monthly gift or just simply sharing this blog on your facebook page, your support would be a huge encouragement to me. heart
