But just as you excel in everything, in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Corinthians 8:7
I
I am so thankful to have so many family members and friends who truly excel in the grace of giving! I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to all of my family, friends and coworkers who have been such a blessing during this difficult process of support raising.
Thank you first to my mom, and her friend Norma, who have been selling baked goods, and all the Riverside staff who have been buying them up! I know that me leaving for the World Race is going to be really hard on my mom, because we are used to talking every single day, but I am absolutely blown away with how supportive and encouraging she has been. I know God is going to use next year to grow her faith so much as well!

Another big thank you to all of my fabulous coworkers at La Salle! They have gone above and beyond to support my fundraising efforts, and I am SO appreciative! I will miss them so much!
So just to give you an update of where I stand, I just recently surpassed my next fundraising goal of $6,500, which is what I needed in order to launch. I am currently at $6625.80, so I will definitely be able to head out to El Salvador with the rest of E Squad in January. I found out my launch date this week too! I’m flying to Ft. Lauderdale Jan. 9, 2012, and after a few more days of training we’ll officially launch from there. Ideally, I would like to have AS MUCH of my total goal raised as possible before launching so that I don’t have to stress about fundraising while on the field and I can fully focus my attention on my team and the people we are serving.

Here’s a couple of ways you can continue to help:
