John 15:5  I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

"In order for the Father to conform us to the image of His Son, we must abide in Christ.  What does it mean to abide? It means to remain, rest, stay, wait, and continue. Abiding in Christ, then, involves waiting upon the Lord and entering into His peace. Just as a branch draws its life-source from the vine, believers must stay connected to Christ for His life to flow through them and produce spiritual fruit. Abiding in Christ, therefore, means to draw supernatural strength from the presence of the Lord and walk moment by moment in the leading of His Spirit."

Katie: Katie is a woman of God if I’ve ever seen one!
I’m not sure I’ve ever had another friend who knows the Word so well.
Katie is such an inspiration for me the way she just speaks life into this team,
and I know we’re all going to learn so much from her!

Taylor: Taylor’s the baby of our group, turning 21 in January.
She is absolutely hilarious, and has some pretty sweet dance moves.
Taylor will also serve as our team treasurer, helping me to manage our team budget.

Evan:  One of the things I admire about Evan is the way he speaks with such conviction.
I feel so blessed that we have Evan (and Zach) on the team to take care of us girls.
Evan is super talented, both in music and media,
which makes him a huge asset to Team Abide 15:5.

Zach:  Zach is so full of energy; he will certainly keep our team entertained.
He has an incredibly huge heart and is so ready to ignite change in this world.
I know Zach is just going to pour his love into this team and the people we are going to serve.

Tatum: Tatum is exactly the type of friend I hoped I would meet on the World Race.
She is beautiful inside and out, fun to be around, and really has a heart for the Lord.
She is also serving as the logistics coordinator for our entire squad.

Bethany: Yep, there’s another Bethany on my team, and she’s incredible.
Bethany has a beautiful voice and is our squad worship leader.
What I love most about Bethany is her openness and honesty. And her laugh is amazing.

These are the six amazing Christians I will be living in community with for 11 months on the Race. We’ll be eating, sleeping, praying, crying, serving, worshipping, sweating, traveling, and growing together, and I couldn’t be happier.
