Nine months ago we started this journey as 52 people in search of what God had waiting for us. We not learned not only from our hosts and all the different cultures we’ve experienced, but also, we have learned some of the greatest lessons from each other. We have cried together, laughed together, and have made some of the best friends we will ever have. As we near the end of this season of our lives, we would like to make known the way we have seen christ move through each of you. Here’s to you Gap D, from the realest, Team Change.
Rye – Your wisdom and confidence in yourself and in Christ has challenged us to seek out what that looks like for ourselves.
Hannah E. – You have a deep love and genuine care for everyone around you and show compassion towards those who need it most.
Lucas – You have a really big heart for people and you know what it means to be a good friend.
Randall – You have such a kind heart and a way of making everyone around you feel loved and appreciated.
Diego – Your constant encouragement reflects Christ’s ability to love on us in every circumstance.
Sam – You look for the good in all situations. You have led us as an equal, you exemplify Christ like qualities, and you never fail to make us laugh. You’ve been a constant source of entertainment, love, and joy to our team.
Mike – Your generosity, servant’s heart, and wisdom go far beyond the average person.
Parker – Your boldness and your faith that God works out every detail of your life reminds us that He is in control of our situations too.
Cecily – You genuinely care for everyone and you always put others before yourself. You are very bold in who you are in Christ and you know that the Lord’s opinion of you is more important than anyone else. You comfort us by pointing us back to the Lord’s truth. You have been our rock of stability on our team and have kept us strong.
Maddux – You always choose to see the best in people and love them for who they are, not who you want them to be.
Lexi – You are our biggest cheerleader and the perfect example of a good friend. You are always there to lean on and to laugh with. You have been our stateside supporter and have always genuinely cared for us (p.s. we miss you tons).
David – Your understanding of the Word allows you to lead people into a closer relationship with the Lord.
Reya – You love for others is genuine and pure, you are there for whoever comes your way. You aren’t afraid to be honest when honesty is needed and you love people even when they fall short of perfection (remind us of how Christ loves us). You have been our comforter, our sassy sweetness and our selfless love. Jack – You know how to be your weird self while simultaneously leading by Christ’s example.
Brittani – Your determination and enthusiasm encourages everyone around you.
Aimee – You have always made us laugh even when times got hard. You are bold in your faith and you stand firm in what you believe. You give your life over to the Lord and trust in His plans for you. You have been a sarcastic, outgoing, joy of a teammate to have.
Rachel – Your self-discipline allows you to lead others purely by example and you’re an incredible friend to anyone and everyone.
Jake – You’re a loyal friend who can always put a smile on anyone’s face without even trying.
Alyssa – You have a joy that is contagious and an eagerness to know God more and more.
Hannah H. – Your desire to put the word into action and challenge others in it to be the best that they can be has pushed us closer to Christ.
Kayce – Your child-like faith encourages us to trust the Lord in all things and your easy-going personality has a way of making people feel loved and accepted.
Jen – You have an incredible ability to find beauty in the littlest of things and are very kind-hearted.
Vicky – Your desire to know the Lord in a deeper way and your joy for life is admirable
Sydney- You have grown so much in who the Lord says you are and you truly know how to be there for people and be a good friend.
Matt – Your positive outlook on life reminds us to always find the good in things.
Maria – You have a strong desire to know the Lord and to follow Him wherever He leads you.
Rebecca – You have a genuine care for the relationships you build and go out of your way to maintain them.
Jill – Your genuine care for people and your compassion for everyone around you is something we all strive to have more of.
Mckenna – You are extremely kind to everyone and your gentle heart reflects Christ in you.
Katie – You are such a light to everyone and you bring so much joy to any and every situation.
Bri – You are very intentional in everything you do and you have shown us how to put the Lord’s will before your own desires.
Claudia – You are always there for everyone and are a constant encourager and reminder of who God is and what he has for each of us.
Kayla – You spread joy so effortlessly and you bring a calming spirit and peace to any situation.
Sabrina – You are very joyful and open to whatever God is leading you into and you are always there to make someone smile when they need it.
Molli Caite – You are in hot pursuit of everything the Lord has for you and refuse to compromise for anything less.
Noah – We appreciate the way you care for people and your willingness to be there for anyone at any time.
Emily V. – You are very obedient to what the Lord is asking of you and you are bold in your faith.
Christi – The way you put your whole heart into everything you do and work solely for the Lord is something you’ve taught us all to do.
Tori – Your willingness to be open and honest with those around you allows you to create authentic relationships with people.
Kat C. – The way you remember the smallest of details about someone and use that to brighten their day, without expecting anything in return, is something we strive to do.
Courtney – You are willing to stand firm in who God has made you and you operate in the Lord’s strength and not your own.
Nikki – You are very obedient to what the Lord says and you follow wherever He leads you.
Emily J. – You have a huge heart for serving those in need and you go out of your way to do so.
Kat D. – You have a way of making everyone feel like a friend and you go out of your way to encourage and show people your care for them.
Claire – The way you embrace every aspect of how God has made you and use that to minister to people reminds us that we are made with a unique purpose that God has equipped us individually to accomplish.
KJ – The joy you have for life and the passion you have for the Lord reminds us not to take life too seriously.
Natalie – Your ability to laugh through hard situations and your reliance on the Lord to carry you through them is truly incredible.
Laurie – You have taught us how to live life care free and without worry because the Lord has us in the palm of His hand.
Markelle – You are always there for people and you seek the Lord in everything you do.
Christa – You are always seeking more of God for yourself and help others do the same and your joy and free spirit are contagious.
Liz – The way you have grown in boldness and your willingness to be transparent allows us to see the way God works through our weaknesses.
