So I’d like to say that I was the genius behind this idea but I wasn’t. However, it’s a cool idea. A really cool idea….
YOU CAN HAVE YOU OWN WORLD RACE DAY!
Ben Baecker, a squad mate, did the math and broke down the large amount and made it a more manageable amount. One that people can wrap their head around! $16,257 is a lot of money but $50 is a sizable amount. (It’s how much a day on the race would be if you divide the whole $16k by the number of days!)
So for $50 you can experience a detailed day on my race! Yep $50 gets you an insider view of a day in the life on the race. If you really want to get the full experience $350 would be a week or you could even do $50 a month and get a slice from each country!
So what does $50 entail? You get a detailed email about the day you pick! It could be a special day such as a birthday, anniversary, or holiday. Or it simply can be a random day! I’ll even try to include pictures if I can (third world internet is super slow. Think AOL dial up, when someone calling would kick you off and then slow it down a little more) If I don’t have WiFi that day I will send you the email ASAP!
***IF in the off chance your day happens to be a travel day where I sat on a bus/plane/train/boat for hours with nothing of great interest I’ll let you know and you can pick a different day!***

The first 3 months I’ll be in Central America, the next 5 months I’ll be in Asia, and the last 3 months I’ll be in Africa. So Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. That’s the tentative schedule.
