I'm sitting in a dark room dimly lit by candles and my laptop screen. I have to be up for work in 5 short hours, but sleep doesn't matter because I am captivated by stories told by racers who have gone before me. Their testimonies are the very thing that sparked my interest in the World Race 3 years ago. As I read them, I am reminded that I am too comfortable here and that I was created for more.

I am longing for life on the field; to encounter God in all His glory, to love on the precious people He will divinely place in my path, to be a family with my teammates, to explore the treasures of Earth, to learn the ways of 11 different cultures, and the list continues with more romanticized ideals of what the World Race will be like because I trust it will be an incredible adventure.
