Well,
we are officially in our seventh month of ministry and our final
month of Africa. Last Tuesday we took a bus from Kigali, Rwanda to
Kampala, Uganda. My team decided to take a day off from ministry, so
we stayed in Kampala until Thursday morning. We are spending this
month in Mukono, which is about an hour from Kampala.

Our
welcome to Mukono was probably the best welcome we have received thus
far on the World Race. As the van pulled up to the church/school,
all of the kids were cheering and so excited to see the mzungus
(white people). Once we were seated inside, there was a group of
students that sang and danced three different welcome songs for us.
It was so great.

This
month we are working with Christ Ambassadors’ Ministry. We will be
doing a variety of tasks throughout the month. Some people are
teaching at their primary school, we speak in different church
services, some outreach in the community, and helping them to
establish an office. I am really excited about the office part of
this month; Ryan and I are basically doing consulting work for their
entire ministry. This is the first time on the race I have felt like
I can really contribute and that I have some type of strength in the
ministry.
