Last week we had the opportunity to go into Kampala for the day and work with a woman to get products to give to the children at our school. Roxanne partners with some crew members of an airline to collect soap, combs, lotions, toothbrushes and other such products to give to kids in Uganda. Our task on Wednesday was to help her organize all that she had, then bag enough for the students we have been working with. We had so much fun with her that day.

On Friday we gave all the students their surprise. Ryan demonstrated how to correctly use shampoo, while I demonstrated proper teeth brushing. I am so glad we were able to do this for the kids at the school.

On Saturday my team went bungee jumping over the Nile River. We jumped from a height of 147 feet. I was the last one to jump on my team and there was a storm brewing, so the winds had started to get stronger. It was awesome, despite my awful fall. I accidently jumped, instead of diving or flopping, so my rope snapped back to flip me. As soon as the boat in the river disconnected me from the rope, it started raining. I would definitely do this again sometime!
