We
were finally able to finish our wall paintings last Wednesday. For over a
week we had been waiting to finish the Moses room, but there we had
an ordeal with the purple background paint. The color we were
painting the entire wall was a shade of purple I mixed, finishing off
our only can of purple. We ran out with just two small, white
patches in the bottom corners. The next day I tried multiple times
to mix the purple from different colors, but all were failures. So
for the last week or so we have been waiting for people here to get
more purple paint for us. Finally, at breakfast on Wednesday, we
were handed the can and able to paint the wall in the afternoon.

Not
only did we paint three walls at the school, but we painted a few
different Bible verses in Hindi at the hospital and one of the polio
homes.

Painting
murals and verses on walls was a new and fun challenge for all of
us. There were various disagreements throughout the days of
painting, but there was definitely more laughing and singing than
anything else. Well maybe not more than the amount of paint we
accumulated on our hands:)
