Wanted
to give you a glimpse at some of the fun things I have done this past
week. For starters, last Saturday I got a tattoo!
เป็นความรัก
My
tattoo says, pen kwaum rak, in English, be the love.
I have been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while, but I
wanted to wait until I knew exactly what it would be and for it to
have meaning to me. I will try to give you a quick explanation of
its significance to me, but if you want to hear more about it, just
ask! In life, especially since being on the WR, I have been learning
more about love; what it means for God to love us and how to share
that love with others. Love is important, and a big part of why we
are on this trip is to be the love to those we meet. It is a
continual journey, being loved and being the love to others; I don’t
think it’s something we can ever stop growing in.
On
Sunday, I may have ridden an elephant. And by may have, I mean I
most certainly did. It was so great. Our elephant was a rebel; he
would blaze his own trail through the jungle. Overall, there was a
bit of freaking out and much laughter. Btw, elephants are prickly
and they sometimes make noises like a rooster:)
Chandler
and me
much
love!
